she walks into the barn sliding off my saddle and putting Kira in a stall. and takes off the rope and puts the halter on.
good girl. she sighs and un tacks me and raps me up in the stall and they put a rope type thing under my stomach so I don't stand. so I don't put weight on my leg. They knew it was broken. so I had to stay off the ground for about two or three weeks. sighs sasha pets me and gives me a carrot "good boy if anything goes wrong just neigh for me." she kisses my muzzle and walks out of the barn. ghost turns to Kira "are you alright?"

She nods."yes i am..and are you?" She asks seeing he had a broken leg. She sighs and lays down.

"you could have gotten seriously hurt kira... I cant take that chance... you know I care about you." he looks down at her. then sighs looking down into his own stall.

"No i didnt..why would you even care about me anyways?"she says in a low voice.

he glares at her, "well at least I care about you, I think you should be glad I care about you!" toward the end he gets some slight attitude.

Kira makes a grimace face. "Yeah.."she says looking down t herself. She gives a lick to ghost and thén soon falls asleep.

he sees her fall asleep then ghost looks around and falls into a very light sleep.

3 hours later
he wakes up panicking he realised their was a strange person in his stall the man put something in his food and he didnt think it was anything bad the man gives and evil grin and runs off. ghost now panicking and kicking the stall. the smell of the food made him want to eat it. he eats it and realized oh god i ate fresh cut grass it can kill a horse it is also known as colic.

Kira Wakes up at the sound of ghost panicking." You okay?" She asks tired but also worried.

the man he colicced me! neighs loudly and bucks the back of the stalls. this can kill me!

Kira looks shocked. She gives serveral kicks on her door and it finally broke. She runs too sasha. Trying to tell her that ghost Needs her now.

Sasha
"oaky okay okay girl im coming" she follows Kira to eh barn and gasps. she pulls out her phone and calls the vet she could see it was very bad she says "Scott its an emergency! Ghost needs colic surgery he doesnt have much longer hes already breathing slower! as she talks on the phone with the vet...
Ghost
he was breathing slow his body was limp he was getting very weak he couldnt even talk he was only able to blink and breath. he looks from Sasha to Kira. then he closes his eyes. he was breathing slowly.
Sasha
"hurry hes blacked out now please scott hurry!"

Kira looks in terror at ghost she lays down next to him pressing her head in on him. "Côme on ghost stay awake...Côme on.." She says tears rolling down her cheek.

vet
"this is one of the worst cases of colic. i can try my best the surgery but theirs no garentees..."

Sasha
"alright thanks scott..." sasha grabs Kiras halter leading her out of the stall into her own stall she closes the stall door after fixing it right before the vet starts the surgery she puts a heavy object infront of kiras stall door.

Ghost- lays limp but breathing

Kira follows sasha into her own stallZ she lays down and looks at her legs. She couldnt get to sleep nor eat or drink. She just wanted news of ghost.

the surgery is done so far its doing well. he is somewhat awake his eyes are open but hes still a bit out of it. scott nods "if theirs any sign of infection call me.
Sasha-nods
Ghost: the amount of pain was over whelming. he was fine but it hurt. he blinked slowly. he could barely lift his head. he was really weak. but he survived.

Kira heard the two humans saying he was okay. Were they lying kira wondered. She curls up in. A ball calmly waiting for ghost to appear.

ghost quietly neighs almost like a new foal neighing. he was tired and hungry. he waited to see if kira heard his soft neigh.

Kira heard his neigh. She took the food that she didnt ate and brought it too ghost. "Here ya go.." She says.

he didnt trust eating anything he was afraid it would happen again. and he didnt need that. he shakes his head as a reply of no thanks. he blinks slowly he was tired and scared for the first time in his life he was scared.

Kira looks at him. She could see he was scared. "Ghost give me one reason why i would want to poision you?" She says looking at the food thén him.

"no it its not that... its because i nearly died..." he looks up at her.

Kira looks at him. She nuzzles his fur* "im happy you havent." She says giving him a small smile.

he smiles and nuzzles her back giving her a warm smile he yawns tiredly and closes his eyes. he didnt saay another word he just simply closes his eyes drifting off into a light sleep.

Kira unable to sleep looks at the ground. She was tired but somehow scared to sleep.
